Hey all,
I recently started a neighborhood for The Cavern Today in Gehn, but I was surprised to find that the hood that was generated lacked any stained glass for Tre'Bivdil and had no third age in the back!
Is this a normal problem or is this particularly unusual? It's obviously not a huge problem but it just seems a little strange.
Also, since I'm still a little new to Gehn, I wanted to ask - is there any real purpose to the machine near the classroom door, or is it just there for show?

That sounds like a bug! I'd be interested in seeing your python log for the moment you linked into the new 'hood and it failed to properly set up your book room.Maurus wrote:Hey all,

That machine you're seeing is an imager, one of the random accoutrement available and assigned to new 'hoods, if I'm not mistaken.

Re: New hood questions
Actually, a bug in this release has enabled the broken reader board in all the Neighborhoods. That's the Kirel-type imager device with all the Z-fighting. It was never supposed to be enabled and will be disabled with the next updateDeledrius wrote:That machine you're seeing is an imager, one of the random accoutrement available and assigned to new 'hoods, if I'm not mistaken.

Re: New hood questions
Hah, well ignore me then. I saw those and assumed we'd enabled them on purpose. I noticed the z-fighting, which the Kirel one doesn't seem to have. Is it accessible at all, or just a dead model?Tsar Hoikas wrote:Actually, a bug in this release has enabled the broken reader board in all the Neighborhoods. Re: New hood questions
Thanks, I'm not familiar with that process of fetching those logs, could you give me the gist of it?
Also, is there any chance this could be fixed manually, or is that out of anyone's control really?
And no, the model isn't intractable / active at all, it just sits there in-between the doors to the Egg Room and Classroom.

Re: New hood questions
I should be able to manually fix them. Do you have a preference for which stained glasses you'd like to appear in your 'hood?Maurus wrote:Thanks, I'm not familiar with that process of fetching those logs, could you give me the gist of it?

Re: New hood questions
Can I see all of them? Also, like I said there's no third Delin/Tsoghal book in the back; you'd be able to add one of those as well, right?Deledrius wrote:I should be able to manually fix them. I'll actually go ahead and check with the team and see if they have a preference stained glass / garden age wise and I'll get back to you.
