Seret Neighbourhood

Postby philipgr » Fri May 09, 2014 4:31 pm

Good morning

I have seen a number of references to the Seret Neighbourhood on the various Uru forums. I am new to to MOULa, TOC and Gehn, I was wondering how do I access this neighbourhood. I have not seen it in any of the nexus stations. I did a search on Google for screenshots of it but, alas I have not found any.

As far as I know, Seret was never released to the public. It was listed on the DRC site, but aside from some very early players (circa 2002) in private testing, that specific combination has never been explicitly available.

Hi again!

If you look at this thread, you will be able to read a little background info on the Seret Neighbourhood

http://forum.guildofwriters.org/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=5819&p=59699#p59699
Find my 1st post & read it (I edited the post as of today: see reason why in the post itself)

Basically, you can visit it by using your URU:CC install or by installing the Deep Island Shard's client on your PC.

1st option
For the URU:CC install:
download Drizzle Version 31 here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/drizzle/
then
Show Spoiler

then
Show Spoiler

then
click on SoundDecompress & wait until it finishes

You have now access to Seret

2nd option
For Deep Island Shard's client:
follow easy instructions here: http://forum.guildofwriters.org/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=4611

The Seret Neighbourhood will be installed by default on DI

Have fun exploring!
Annabelle ;)
