Question about Alabaster

Postby Grape » Sat Jun 24, 2017 9:06 pm

Shorah!! :)

I am playing Alabaster.
I have found seven mysteries.
I searched for clues to solve these mysteries, but Alabaster is too wide, I do not know what to do.
Please tell me these clues.

Oh, yes, Alabaster is a little bit hudge :-)

Let's begin with the last picture.
It is the Animal Palace. You see 12 (13) animal symbols. These animals are scattered throughout the island. Each animal is assigned a D'ni number.
If you have all the animals (numbers) together you get a code and can open the Palace.

So you see D'ni 4. Push it, you will hear something. Go to the top of the mountain, and you see what it mean. Thats your animal number 4.

Now to the first question. What is this switch. You can push it, something happens, but you do not see what. Go on this field. near a round stone. A D'ni number ?
Then find the way on these bridge (may be it cost you a long time),

but then you will see what this switch will do. You can see it only from the top.
Maybe another animal?

Third question: To solve the beetle puzzle you need a hint.
This hint you find near the animal Palace. Go down stairs to the big door. In this room you find more hints.

One hint you need for the Eyes Puzzle. The Eyes Puzzle (you reach it after swim a long time in the green water) is also the answer for your next question.
"Cannot reach the Journey cloth"
Swim to the "Eyes Palace" and you will reach it. If you are there, open the door :-)

Next question:
"Puzzle, shapes"
I call it Feather Puzzle. You can solve it, if you have the hint. This hint you will get after solving the beetle Puzzle. ;-)
So dont worry. All in his time.

"Cage" Do not know the cage  Is it from me ? ;)
Never give up :)

Shorah Dulcamara!! :)
Thank you very much for providing a very understandable clue.
(I'm sorry I have plenty of questions at once. )

Based on the clues you gave me, I will try my best a little more!!
If there is something I do not understand, please let me ask a question again. ;)

A question on my own behalf:

Does anyone know where Diafero is at the moment?

I gave him an update of Alabaster 30.7.17 .
I have no respone so far.
Is he perhaps on holiday?

Hi! I'm loving Alabaster and think I've solved at least one puzzle, but there are several places where I enter the codes and the whole game freezes and crashes on me. I think it's because my computer is slow and I'm such a newbie with all this. Any help with the crashing? I want to keep exploring!

Oh, and in another thread, you posted a link or spoiler of map of Alabaster, but when I click on it, it says something about updating my account to enable 3rd party hosting. Could you please try posting the map again?? :)

Hello jenniferllynch, :)
nice to see that people play Alabaster from time to time.

but there are several places where I enter the codes and the whole game freezes and crashes on me

I hope with the new update it works better for some players.
But we have to wait on Diafero. He have to upload the new files.
I know no one else who is responsible for this shard.
Maybe he is in vacation or to busy.
