So, are saying that phDakotaRoof does NOT refer to the Palace Roof Courtyard?
That i have not found that 'roof'?
Do tell me that, please.

Oh, I do, I do!
But wait, it gets better: DakotahRoof is amusing, but it is just a side dish.
NewFloor1 is the main course.

By the way, did you calculate that last just jump to be be just barely enough? I am wondering if you have changed the gravity on it?
You are so right, Chacal. It just gets better. Beautiful job.

The Way to the Terminal Roof
You are SOOOOOO devious, Chacal.
You totally faked me out with that door the first time. I went in from the Plaza, and thought it was just another behind the scenes set of construction planes. Being already anesthetized by previously charging through planes and falling back to Relto (after all, you do 5 or 6 of those interruptions, and pretty soon your life really does begin to flash before your eyes) – What happened is that you did your Pavlovian number on me, and after going only so far this time and not falling, I backed out of that door and on into the plaza.
Yes, i see what you mean. Really a great trip through the rubble. I guess the first hand- sign in Gahreesen inspired you to do this? This must have taken a bit of time, making all those planes habitable. Did you really find everything there – you did not add anything? (except bearing capacities)?
What gets me is that you did not give it away when i spoke the first time of finding the hard roof at the Terminal. Don't think i want to play poker with you, Chacal.

Nice one, Chacal.

It's not the door I thought it was going to be in Tokotah alley. But once I got through and followed the stairs, I got to the lookout rooftop:

But after falling down the canyon several times with no success, I gave up it. Any more clues?
Oh - another door I'd like to see opened:

No, I swear it was all there, waiting for you all that time. After the palace courtyard, this place has been frustrating me for years. I mean there are whole flights of stairs already in place, godammit! Now all this area adda a lot of playable surface. ALL the planes you can reach by jumping are solid. Have you tried getting down the broken areas?
For that last jump, it just happened that way. I tried it, saw that I could make it, then added the Ferry roof.
I can't change gravity, I don't know if this can be done in Uru.
There's something else at the end of it, as you probably have found already.

Nice rubble you're looking at.

There's nothing behind right now, but I'm doing some tests. Trylon gave me an idea. We'll see.
This is an example of what I had in mind when I proposed my 4 models for integrating user content in MOUL (see my first post in
this thread. Everyone would like to open that door, including Cyan which probably has a plan for it but no time or resources. Why not start a contest and outsource it to us? This would be easy for everyone here, including me.
I think I'll do it as a proof of concept and publish the results.

I cannot remember how one changed gravity in the CD game. Some one spoke of it during UU and of the physics for changing the gravity – probably one of the messages relating to flying back then. However, the emphasis was upon NOT attempting changes in UU. It was for the CD game, and i suspect you CAN change the physics there to reduce gravity – after all, that is precisely what one does when one goes into fly mode. I guess for flying, gravity = 0.
The real reason i mention this is that my gravity in the CD game is heavier than for my avi in Chacal's restorations. For instance, in the CD Hood, i cannot jump over the rail on the landing roof [Eider Kemo stone] back by the clock, while i can jump over the rails in the Museum of the Chacal Restorations. In the museum i think the collider over the barriers is now lower than in the game. But it is not that the hood rail barrier is too high. I simply cannot jump high enough to clear it. By feet drag, so i am thinking i am heavier there (and indeed, i am way too heavy).

Just occurred to me: Chacal how about offering your tweaks to Jennifer so she can bring her classroom of chicks to your restoration age. This is really a form of restoration which they have never considered. It would give good usage to all your work and it would be great fun for the chicks – they really need a playground somewhere. I always intended the Museum of Art to be a place where they might romp around a bit, but i could never get anyone to model it.
Really; but if you would rather, i will ask her about this. What do you say?

Well you know, it's available to everyone that reads the the forum. Anyone can apply the changes like Robert and you did.
