Hmm... good question, how did the name Teledahn come about? I don't really know how, but we could just leave it at that :D again, I'm sorry to completely get rid of all your Ideas, but I just don't think they'd work in yinfara :)

We should definitely hold onto them for another project though - I really like Gorobay's idea a lot.

Ya, I do too :) It just doesn't seem to fit with this particular age. That's a great Idea :D

How about if the name is a "Looks like "yinfara" in the native script" kind of thing. You know, the name when spoken sounds like "RILIC-kaurloom"or whatever, but in the script it LOOKS like Yinfara. Here's what I have so far:

That would be in the native script. :)

Ok, I've figured it out. And "translated" it. :P

You see, the age writers(us) wouldn't be stupid or anything and assume it was "Yinfara" but since this was the first example of the native's writing the name stuck. :)

Here's something I did that could conceivably be an alien script yet be interpreted as "Yinfara":

(Sorry about the picture quality - I couldn't think of any other way to show it)

Edit: Sorry, I didn't see your second post, Lontahv.

Well *ahem*, having the name be based on something that looks like "Yinfara" was my idea and the whole point of my puzzle.

What does "reekil-tahkt" mean? Would there be lots of writing all over the island? If not, how would we be able to learn the alphabet? Is the original door/lighning rod puzzle still being used? If so, where do the color symbols come from?

The color symbols come from... well... they're just the symbols cast on the floor of the glass hut when the sun is a cirtain color. They don't have to have a meaning, other than the fact that they are a symbol cast on the floor of the hut, and in turn, entered into the door.

Ok, let's get a move on, it seems that we're stuck in a rut.
Now, I've decided to take a stand on things, so we can have something solid to build upon, and therefore move this project forward.

The Two major puzzles will be the Yinfara glass hut puzzle, and the lightning rod puzzle. The storyline will be told through journals by me. We still need to decide some "mini" puzzles that perhaps unlock artifacts.
