Most people call it the "Purple Smiley" Button. :D

I guess my main beef at the moment is that the wiki tutorials keep calling for Scripts > Add > PyPRP > "Add Default AlcScript," or "Add Default age fni settings," which are not options in the menu that pops up at that point. I'm sure it's something incredibly simple that I'm just not getting as a result of having no programming experience at all.

I think I see what you mean Trylon. After hitting "Add Property" I changed "float" to "string" and then typed "region" in the field to the right of the name. This seems to be what the tutorial was saying to do ... I think. Doesn't seem to be extremely crucial at the moment so I'll just keep on keeping on for now.

Actually, the problem is that "Add Default Alcscript" and "Add default .fni file" are not options anymore. Both are created automatically when you "Add new book". I'm not sure why those are still there in the tutorial. I guess I should go take them out.

I tried to load the tutorial Age for the "First Visit." Upon attempting to link from Relto, the screen goes black and I get an error message saying that files are corrupted. This is also what happens whenever I try to link to Ahra Pahts. I've asked before, and as far as I can tell it has something to do with the fact that I'm using ABM + TPOTS instead of the actual CC package. Any ideas on what may be going on?

I also have ABM with the TPOTS expansion installed on top of it. That should not be a problem. Did you try updating the sum file? You can use UruFun for that.

OK, I downloaded UruFun. Now what? I could play around with it but I don't want to mess up any files ... the readme doesn't really help me at all. Sorry to be so helpless.

Look in the dat folder for the sum file, select it and click on the Update Checksum button.

That was quick. I was just going to say that I went back to the readme and found what I needed. Pahts is working now but I still can't go to the tutorial age. UruFun was unable to locate the .sum file or something, although it was right there in the left panel.

Edit: Upon the second attempt, it said that tutorial.sum was fine and didn't need any updating, but the game still crashed when I tried to link there, saying that files were missing or corrupted.

Out of curiosity.....what did you set the Sequence Prefix in your book to?

This is a unique number that identifies an Age to Uru. When you make a new book for an Age, it is defaulted to 100, but you don't want to leave it at that. You need to set it to something different. Try something like: 5210 or something.

That was it, Andy. Right now the tutorial says "For now, the default sequence prefix of 100 is ok for a local testing Age, but when you want to release your Age, you will have to change this number to a unique one." To me this sounds like "when you want to release your Age to the general public," but apparently it means "when you want to release your Age to be playable in-game" or something like that. Just my two cents, although again I'd like to think that I am a representative newcomer to Blender / PyPRP and that others will read things the way I do. Thanks again to everyone for such prompt responses.
