I think some of the tension/conflict/drama would be the desire to return to Earth, to home and family. Some people might be content to build a new life on Asylum, some might be desperate to get home.
How would we tell when it is safe? Can we figure out a way to communicate with people back home, without giving the Bahro a way in?

And some might be actively opposed to trying to return whether it's safe or not, and some might be all gung-ho about going back and *making* it safe...there are lots of different possibilities. And if Asylum turns out to be not as safe as we thought, that adds another twist.
