Talent? Where can I get that?

OHHHH I always get this question wrong! Shouldn't there be a "not sure" or "other" option?

Wait, were only people with talent suppost to vote? ...whoops! Well I do have a very basic age but it has no textures or much of anything so... I'm honestly not sure if I can be considered an Age Builder/Writer or not. But I'm glad there are people talented at this stuff since we probably won't be getting much material from Cyan anymore.

Hey - a 3:1 ratio! We're doing better than most "tech" universities!

Probably because this would probably be better equated to an art school, albeit one specializing in a more tehnical field. ;)

I'm a full time age-writer part time programmer. I build all my own ages and try and do my best at programming them myself, but sometimes I flounder on that and need a little help. My measurements are--- oh wait, lol, you only wanted the basics. Never mind that last part.

In all seriousness, I learned about Writing my own ages during MOUL. I learned there was this whole subset of Uru devoted to writing their own stuff, back during the tail end of the Alcugs days, and I downloaded all the programs for it then, and just started getting really into it. Then I quit MOUL and age writing cause of pressing real life stuff that I needed to focus on, and by the time I was ready to jump back into Uru the cavern was closing up. But then I found that the Guild of Writers had their own website, and here I am, back into the swing of things again, and happy to be a part of the next step.

Gaaaaah! Even to this day I can't for the life of me understand what a ratio is!!! At any rate it is only 1/4 female now, don't know what that is in a ratio. That's a small amount and yet you say it is BETTER then most "tech" universities? Better as in Higher percentage of females then universities? Honestly, I kind of thought we were past those times.

well, 1/4th female would be a 4:1 ratio of male:female..... so yeah.

Actually the ratio in this case is 3:1. A ratio is divided in such a way that the two numbers added together equal the sum of its parts. So in this case its 3:1 not 4:1. Three males to ever female.

Exactly, GPNMilano.

Once we're at 1:1, we will be. :)

The forum server couldn't cope with the load. Can you imagine 50000 posts a day, and not a single one on topic?
:D
