cmd says "processed file: C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Cyan Worlds\Myst Uru Complete Chronicles\UruLibraryManager.exe

I still can't open the ULM (i get the same error)

I also tried this:

CACLS %systemroot%\System32\*.dll /E /G BUILTIN\Users:R
CACLS %systemroot%\System32\*.ocx /E /G BUILTIN\Users:R

I still get the error!

Two questions for you, jordd:

1. Have you tried running ULM as an administrator (or with an account that has administrator privileges)?
2. If you try issuing the CACLS command on UruLibraryManager.exe again, but this time use BUILTIN\Users:F instead of BUILTIN\Users:R, does it work?

This is a stumper...

As a last resort, try uninstalling ULM and reinstalling it. If you encounter any errors during installation, post them here.

And if that doesn't work, then I recommend PM'ing Trylon (the author of ULM) for advice.

We had someone over at Maintainers that had a problem. He was getting different errors though. But his solution was to redownload the ULM. Seems the first download was bad, even though everything appeared okay. Don't know if this would help, or if you've already tried it.

the first one: No .net framework found. ULM needs .net framework 2.0 to function.

i don't understand, i installed .net 2.0

the second error: Warning could not find c:\Program Files\Ubi soft\Cyan Worlds\Myst URU Complete Chronicles\Python\Python.pak! Patch up Python.pak to URU library manager.pak yourself (using Vpatch and ULM.pak)

what do i do?

ok ULM opens now!

Problem: i cannot click in URU, the mouse pointer comes up but i cant click I cant even get into my relto.
Ideas?
