All I need is a team that can program in python and knows a bit about servers, a SVN repo, and I'll make a place to hang-out(mmo). I'd be fine with offering it for free since I'd make someone else host it.(my internet is slowish) This would be one of my dreams come true(making an mmo). I have SOO many ideas of how to make it flexible and such. It would have a hex-message transfer for everything except the chat. *rubs hands together and pulls up sleeves*

At first I'll only have test ages and limited people to develop this thing(that may be done very soon(if I get a team) think: a couple of months).

We need some avatars though. :/ I've done some feeble attempts to make something decent but... get stuck. Never mind, we'll have cube-people at first(that hop around ;) ).

P.S. I think it may be better to start with this NOT being D'Nay--we'll just have it be a place that Uru folks can stick together in. It won't have to be polished because It'll be in a kind of never-ending testing phase(don't worry, it'll be nice--after a few months of modeling).

Despite the personal differences, wouldn't be smarter andeasier to join the 7d7 development? It's ogre based (at least when I compile the alpha it compiles ogre into the package).

The problem is that I'm not sure what it's goals are. I think that it's trying to run prps with a non-plasma engine(kinda illegal). My goal would be to make a multi-player myst/uru THEMED place for the UL refugees to hang out. And 7D7's team is NOT the GoW--we've broken away from them.

"I have SOO many ideas of how to make it flexible and such."

Cool.

Post a spec when you have something written down. I would be interested to see it.
