Sorry BAD but that's politics. People tend to read something once if it interests them they pursue it if not they walk away. Fresh members need a read once sticky locked post that covers all this stuff. You only get one cut at catching the casual users attention.

I like the "Cares enough to vote on Guild Proposals" description, and it should be featured more prominently, rather than pasting the long winded official description into topics that probably won't be read any more than the administrative forums are already.

Heh, the actions of the desperate, and distracted. From now on I'll just post a quote and say "what he said.".

The point about 'need to be available on short notice' keeps me from joining right now. Juggling *way* too many things RL, in particular with work.

I don't really think you're "unreachable enough" to not be a representative when you reply to things like this thread. Remember, (if I recall correctly) this entire proposal was born out of the idea of simply maintaining a smaller, more accurate list of how many votes we need to pass a proposal.

I have not been very active so far, but am willing to become more active since the situation has changed with the proposed release of the source code. Let me know what you need me to do (email is the best way to reach me) and it will be done.

I finally gave up and applied. Part of it was the responses from my concerns above, part is from recent discussion elsewhere.

If there is a facility for admins to send a mass-email to the registered base, it may be a good idea to do that once (or perhaps again - I don't remember seeing one for this) to let folks know what's going here these past few months.

Well I have been very busy lately,too many things getting in my way, but I should start getting some free time to devote to working on ages and posting on the forums. I hope that it won't anger anyone that I signed up to be a Representative despite my low post count which I intend to fix as soon as possible.
