I only discovered this in POTS on my second or third run through the game and it was by accident. Later, in MOUL, I was helping someone with E'rcana when I said something like. "Aren't you going to move this rock out of your way?" They were just as excited as I was when I first found it.
It was only this past year that I discovered that the room being spied on in Sharper's spy room is the building with the tent in the Takotah courtyard. That would have placed the spy room somewhere between the ruined pub and the Takotah rooftop. (But I could not find any corresponding hole in the wall where the spy lens could be.)

I'm always amazed by the little details you find each time you replay the game, but some time you realize that huge things have eluded you: i discovered only very recently that there was a maintainance tower in Ahnonay Shpere 4 as well and i'm still wondering how can i have missed that for so long

That reminds me. I only recently discovered that there was a Watcher's Words text reference inside the tower of the second sphere.
