Bless him, he's like the community's version of Fox News.
I nearly died when I read that post too

It's really not that hard

So, Hoikas, you are now banning people for the good of all of us? Except the ones who are dead?

I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Re: Cyan's Server "hacked"?
This is obviously a serious problem and another highlight to why people need to be able to patch these security holes (assuming it is a security breach).
Re: Cyan's Server "hacked"?
I'm a bit suprised about how worked up everyone got about it. The joke seemed harmless enough to me. Hardly worth the lifelong banning some people "kindly requested".
Then again, the need for or value of memorials and graves is a bit alien to me, me and my family and friends never needed or valued them to remember the dead. Even in real life, grafitti on a tombstone has no more effect on me than grafitti on a piece of art or a wall. (To be clear: I don't like grafitti)

One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.

What an interesting way to instantly infuse story into the game. Now a post of some kind by DRC would cap it.

And... it would then become canon.

All the Explorers are back down in cavern scowering every corner looking for perps...

Agreed.
In my opinion, the whole argument is pointless right now. Since the imager has been fixed, it should be a non-issue now. There is no need to permanently ban anyone anywhere over something small like this.
The imager is fixed, and the issue has been resolved, so I think we should focus our attention on more important tasks at hand.
