It doesn't matter if he didn't do it "in the sense of wanting to under a name." he evaded a ban. Just like Dhel would be banned (and may have been) for coming back as Pelishard_Rep.

Well while that is true, I still believe he should be unbanned and welcomed back. That's my thought and I am sticking with it. (No offence intended, just saying that's my personal view) :)

I'm sure that if enough people petition Hoikas to allow him back, he would. However he may have conditions that Tyion will have to meet before he would acquiesce to that.

I propose that, if he has something he wants to say, he should persuade a non-banned member to post it on his behalf. Then the "sponsor" will be responsible for any further violations in the new post itself. The other members of CCN would be good candidates for this role.

Hoikas, what do you think about this? Would you be ok with letting Ty back on maybe... a trial of sorts? He could abide by some conditions up to a point where he has earned all his rights back or something.

I'm personally against it.

While I don't necessarily agree with the initial ban...

Multiple evasions of bans, however... I do agree with a ban for that. Hell, I wouldn't have even considered any period of time "served their time", for a ban-evasion, unless specifically an Admin had given them permission, previous to the re-reg, and/or, they were not aware of the ban (don't often use the forum/forum changed software, and mysteriously their forum account disappeared, not "banned").

hmm, I wonder what Tyion would say if I asked him what got him banned... or should I just drop it... eh, IDK, this whole issue is just weird to me. One day he is around, the next there is a ban on his name, with really... no real reason given. I just find it.... odd I guess. :)

For arguments sake, banned means just that, there is no coming back. Anything less and it is not a banning, it is something less than a ban. A ban with conditions maybe what’s here.

I do not know all the policies here but there is usually a ramping up of offences that lead to being banned.

I would purpose PM’ing the Admin of the forum.
