You make a good point, Aloys. I'm not sure that official Cyan approval is necessary to make a fan storyline successful, but it might help in the eyes of many. But then we go back to the same old problem: how can Cyan decide which stories, among the proposals they are sent, should be officially recognized, and which not? Should they go to the Cavern as Sutherland or Kodama and post on the DRC forum for each and every small story the fans want to run? Or should they somehow decide which projects seem to be worth it? I think it might get messy in both cases.

Moreover, even Cyan's support will not help a story if it lacks the basic: enough people willing to spend time to make it work, a good idea, and even better coordination. And if you have these three things, I'm not sure you need Cyan to make it successful in the first place. =)

Maybe the problem is we ARE a bunch of guys with way too much free time and are way too involved in the game.
But ya know, I care about this game and I want to improved it.

I'm sorry I believe some people are confusing what I said (or what I meant to say) I don't give a toss about Cyan approval, but it does look a bit better when Cyan gives things like putting Journals in, having Bahro run around, Crap like that. But there is tons we can do before getting any of that. So if you are interested or become interested let me know. Oh and does anyone know who controls the Imager in the Writer's Pub and Hood? I think anyone who belongs to GoW in game can upload images to pubs images.

If You thinking about images of fan created ages - that was putted by RAWA if I recall correctly.

IIRC, back in GameTap MOUL, everyone could post on these imagers... and I don't think they changed anything.

Alright folks,I heard about the incident at the Guild Fair and have talked to some of my fellow Writers. I don't want to get rid of that GoMa group but I don't want to exclude anyone. So I figure I'm going to ask for a Private Forum here where I can then take ideas here and take them there and vice versa. I am leaning towards a private forum to prevent spoilers as best I can. I know it's impossible I know some people are spoiling things as we speak, for all I know someone is posting all the info so far written on that forum for everyone at the MOUL fourms to read for the hell of it, but I can try. Any thoughs or comments feel free to share.

Could anyone provide a pointer to whatever the hell you're all talking about?
In the past 2 months I have been away and I have missed a lot. What's a SR hood? What incidents? What cracking?
