That's good to know! Is that using the UruSetup.exe and UruExplorer.exe that comes from Steam, or the Official NoCD patch from UAM, Kaelis?

Urusetup and uruexplorer that comes from steam - I saw no need to install the nocd. =)

I will double check to be certain, when I get home. =)

Marketing obviously. This is a large publicity stunt, they made the headlines of the whole gaming press the last 3 days, and will keep making it till the end of the week. They may have lost some customers, and lost the respect of even more but in the end they will probably gain much more...
If I were a customer that had bought a game there on friday or even thursday and would have been unable to download it and play it for the week end just because of a marketing stunt I would have been mightly pissed off..
The unfortunate truth however is that I will probably buy other games from them in the future simply because right now there are no other better alternatives. :/

They have lost my trust, but like you I also will more than likely order more games. For there are only a few out there that offer XP and Vista ready DRM free games.

‹(•¿•)› BUT I will check GamersGate befoe going back to GOG....

I think they've not really considered that they're acting a bit contemptuous to their customers. On the other hand I thought the stunt was interesting and it'll probably work to their benefit...

Epic fail. I'm glad I never bought anything from these assholes. There's no way I would ever trust them now.

The beauty of a lack of DRM is that once you've got your game, you don't need to trust them to stay open. I would much sooner buy from them than from Steam, even with these developments.
