Hey,

I read your story/ idea's on those pictures.
I liked this part:
Gehn, lord of ages wrote:How about monumental cliffs on all sides (ones which reach up as high as mountains - either there's something special about the light source of the planet of the area, or they have very long nights), save for a couple ravines where the water enters in? With some walking and jumping through a ravine, navigating through some caves, perhaps (maybe with stuff you'd need to solve other puzzles in the Age first for), you could get to other areas

And to combine that with this:
Gehn, lord of ages wrote:What if the symbol carved into the ground was dynamic? Like, several different channels the water could flow through, with gates that could be moved in and out (or maybe some gates which would switch from blocking one route to blocking another) to redirect the water flow. Maybe also have some places where the water flow could be stopped by a person standing/sitting and blocking the flow, which could potentially be used to get through the Age differently if you had friends to help (and would just be cool in general). The changes in the symbol could be practical (needing to cross areas or otherwise change the flow to move around and/or solve puzzles [empty out parts of the canals to get to manholes or natural caves underneath them, run water wheels in the right direction, etc.]) or cosmetic (either to communicate with something, or just to make cool looking designs.

I don't know I it's possible to trigger something on a sitting action, It should be possible because you use a clickable and you could make a responder respond to that. And when you stand up it could be trigger with a regional responder ....

If just standing/sitting in place wouldn't work (either no way to trigger stuff, or just awkward and unrealistic when it triggers), it could just be made more like a chair or bench - click on it to move into place and sit down at the right spot, triggering the stop of water.

I'd definitely be interested as a writer. I'm good at coming up with stories, but I'm awful at doing anything beyond writing them. I've worked in non-Uru stuff where I wrote entire in character journals and books.

I have a fairly strong command of language. I could help as an editor, or maybe as a writer if needed. I'm not much good at character or plot, though.

The call has never quite left me ;) I'm looking forward to seeing your Ages Tweek :D As soon as I can get back to my parents and get my Uru DVDs back (tomorrow!)

Now I'm intrigued--who's John Lynch? Anyone I know?

I'd also be interested in contributing at the story/writing end, but it looks like others have already beaten me to the punch there ;). Let me know if people fall through or if you find you have a need for yet another writer.
