I have been getting in with no problem as I also have the "keep me logged in" option" checked

I just had the to double login. I originally had it to log me automatically but today I found I was logged out and when I went to login it said I had exceeded my amount of attempts. Seeing how this is the first time I have had to login in several weeks, as I said I had it set to log me in automatically, I don't see how that is possible on the first attempt today.

It could easily be that you or someone else made some incorrect attempts during the last weeks, but the session in your other browser stayed active.
I didn't have a single CAPTCHA the last 5 or 6 logins.

Then I would say we have someone trying to hack the accounts. I haven't had to try and login in some time, as I said I had it set to log me in automatically. So there hasn't been any attempts by me in some time. At least not since the last time I reset my cache which was back in January. In fact I have never ever had problems before. My login and password are fairly easy for me to remember. In fact in the 2 years I have been a member of this forum, this is the only time I have ever seen the captcha.

I'm getting the failed log in, and max attempts everytime now, whether or not I set it to automatic log in. I can log in just fine, I just have to try it twice and do the CAPTCHA every single time.

Add me to the list of those who have to log in twice. And I haven't been around a computer for a week and got this on my first try at logging in.

DITTO automatic log in has no effect..

I glanced through the logs about a week ago and found nothing amiss. Also, logins "workforme" (I never see the captcha), so I have no idea what's going on.
