Sometimes they PM, sometimes they don't.
Also it tends to be fine as long as you don't mention the /tools/ you're using but just post screenshots
On another note, if someone posts false information and you point this out, your post may be removed. If you point it out again and it is changed your post may be removed. Rewriting history is allowed there, just as removing posts for no real reason at all.
Anyway don't worry about having mentioned DI, there are worse offenses like posting off topic >.>
