Hi Sirrius
Thank you for your post. Yes I am rather far away from the DI server in Germany. I live in Boksburg on the East Rand near Johannesburg in South Africa.
I was going to try and see if I could download and install Alabaster in my offline CC Fan version of Uru. Then I read your post and the subsequest ones and saw that it is not possible at the moment. I have come across another issue in that none of my off line CC versions will run. I think it may be due to the Physx drivers that my NVidia installation keeps updating.
Thank you for your help with my problem.
Regards
Philip

Re: Alabaster freezes
So should I put these patched files onto DI, or should we rather wait until you fixed the issues you noticed, Dulcamara?
Sirius, if you tell me which buttons you pressed, I can also run the age through Drizzle myself... at least if you mean the "old" Drizzle; did you do modifications to that code? I won't have time to test things much, but I can always put it on DI, let people test it there, and then only move things to UAM later.

I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Sure. It requires the latest version here, which I just uploaded to take care of a bug in the previous build.diafero wrote:Sirius, if you tell me which buttons you pressed, I can also run the age through Drizzle myself...
It's in the "Fan Age Tools" tab, using the following config: This will take care of tweaking graphics and collisions.
As for networking, you'll need to use the command-line function
Code: Select all
-excludepersistentstates c:/<path to>/Elodea_District_mainRoom.prp c:/<output folder>
(this function was buggy in the last version, hence the need to redownload the latest version of Drizzle.)
Should be all.
Oh, and I updated the link in the Drizzle32 thread, along with pushing the sources to the Github repo. Just to keep things clean

Hello you two
Then I wanted to test the Age on the H'Uru Shard with friends.
I think it would be better to wait this time, because at least the spawnpoint for Cloth1 was defective.
Excuse me, if the changes cost you much of your time.

I'm working on splitting the age into 2 portions. I also changed a few scripts.Diafero wrote:

If it is not too impertinent I would wish that you could do with the new version again.Sirius wrote:

No worries, this shouldn't take long now that I've done it onceDulcamara wrote:If it is not too impertinent I would wish that you could do with the new version again.
