Duh, duh, duh, duh........
Was just looking through the log, and I realized that I had a typo! At the end of the journal contents for the 3rd book, I ended it with:
day.', self,key)
Instead of:
day.', self.key)
A comma instead of a period! Der!!!
Let me change it and see what happens.

That should probably do the trick. Useful (de)buggers those logs, aren't they?

Yah, they burn in fireplaces good too!

I remember...
Working until midnight punching cards.
Bringing the stack to the data center service window in another building on the campus.
Waiting 3 hours for the job to reach the top of the queue (actually sleeping under a desk with an alarm clock).
Walking to the data center again to retrieve the 200-page output on paper.
Job didn't run: there was a comma instead of a period in column 17 on card 271.
Punch a new card, bring the stack to the...
The mistakes haven't changed, only it's a little less painful now!
