Thanks (as everytime) for all the comliments. :P
I tried to translate the last sentence. Think I got the meaning. So I can say that it's really fun too to create an age of a world that just can exist in my mind. It's always a kick when I'm able to execute one of my ideas, and when thereby a place gets created that makes you believe it really could exist somewhere. This is Cyan style! 8-) Writing books, yeah! :D

To give an answer to the 3d model low poly:
I was playing World of Warcraft for a long time. And I could adopt alot. Blizzard really nows how to use less edges and faces, but it always looks ok. They have created their own style by using less polygons.
I try do to it in the same way. The hills of Breldur have 5600 faces max. That's really alot, so I try to create all smaller objects with as less faces as possible.

Update: I've uploaded the first preview video on http://www.vimeo.com/4806912 too.
They support a better quality for watching the video.

Would be fine to get some comments and likes there. :) That pushes me to the mainpage of vimeo. 8-)

Did you ever think about earning money with that kind of stuff? You could really do it...

So, how many polys does the whole age currently have?

161 objects, 15 lamps, 14753 vertices and 17661 faces

Breldur_District_mainRoom.prp is the largest file in the dat-directory with 90MB, but the age ist still running fine.

It looks very seamless; good job! Your previous 2 Ages were very beautiful as well!

*plug, plug, plug*
It appears that you're using ULM instead of Offline-KI. The Offline-KI is handy for Age Writers, because you can get to your Age a lot faster. (You just type "/link Breldur" as soon as you land on Relto, so you don't have to walk to the bookshelf, click, wait, etc.) And there are handy scripting things, like "/setsdl brelDoor1IsOpen 1", and "/exec print 'Python code!'", and "/getsdl brelDoor1IsOpen".

Edit: But seriously, JonaeHood is an Age I like to revisit often :)

*jawns* I'm sooo tired.
I was working on the interior of the first living cave for the whole last three days.
Have to go to bed now, the alarm clock rings in 5 hours again. :?

Hope you like the reason of the dark circles around my eyes. :D

But the best comes at the end:
Here is my second preview video http://www.vimeo.com/jonnee. Please make it your favourite!
The video is a bit dark, you better watch it in full screnn mode! A version for youtube will be uploaded tomorrow.

Good night, all!

My word Jonnee!! I must say that it is getting very hard to wait on this Age any longer.
I haven't played Uru is a while(mostly because of school, work, and life's drama...what a messed up drama at that).

This Age will spur me to finish the garden Age so I can move on. I look forward to seeing this place finished.

I'm starting a Jonnee fan club. Anyone want to join? (Not for real, but hey...I can wish can't I?)

I may sound like an old broken cassette player, but I can only repeat that this is exceptionally great and if you don't hurry with the release we will have to find out your real-world location and *force* you to give us these files :D

No, seriously take your time, what you are creating here will be memorized as one of the best fan-ages ever (if not even the best) - congratulations!

It's fascinating how realistic the fire in those hanging pots looks. Awesome!
