Thank you!

I've just upgrade the song because there was a small part out of tune.
The link remain the same on the previous post but now the song is a bit different.

This is another background, this is perfeclty loopable (does this word exist?) :?

Should both musics play at the same time when the colors are enabled, or should it toggle between <main music|background music> ? Which music should be playing "by default" when you link to the Age ?
When the age starts you listen by default to "sylster back" in loop. When "a spoiling thing" happens (a matter of colors) you ear the thunder. The file called "sylster" is only the song without effects but it will not be used in game.

Nice idea. Tomorrow I'll work on it

I liked the 'old' one more ... did you add something to the new? ... for me the new one
sounds like having a strange, distorted underlying tune added all the way through ...
How can I best describe it ... it is like when a tune is overmodulated somehow ... but
maybe it is just me, though I hear it when comparing them both ... Maybe it is just a
bit overmodulated, means without you having added sth to it ... that just came to my
mind ... However, it is very beautiful nonetheless ... :P

Haha, and no, 'loopable' doesn't exist, but I also like to invent such comfortable words lol ... :D

I simply removed a simple track done with a "not perfectly tuned" guitar and replaced it with one a little bit different.
I've done it hurriedly because yesterday evening I had no time so it is possible I compromised the mixing :x
Sincerely... I thought the new track do not compromise the mixing so I didn't check it.
I promise I'll do the mixing quietly (on my laptop I can't hear the new sound because the volume is too low)

Please don't tell me you liked the old one, there was a mistake on it. My teacher can kill me for that mistake in the guitar-chorus setup
... maybe he will kill me for the mixing problem :?

I'm affraid it's not a good idea. I made some tests, 2-3 second of pitch paradox became a simple scale because it is impossible to hear the paradox in a such shorter time. A simple scale with a piano, in my opinion, it's not a good idea.
I tried to make a 8 second pitch paradox to use it for the elevator but mixed with the music is cacophonous and 8 second is a short time for the paradox too.
I'm switching the software I use to record my songs so I'll try to make something that could fit with the age and similar to the paradox but you have to wait a bit before I can do something else.

I think I've corrected the distortion 8-)

These are the final version of the background and sound effect:

It seems ashame no one is willing to work on this, so im gonna give it a try. It would be a lot easer if I can get a Max version of at least the structure, short of that I can play hit and miss with /location. It will take a bit longer but it should be possible.

The music sounds great although Im not sure about the thunder perhaps someone can find a sky texture to fit so I can add the thunder as well. I still have the furniture and the planters, the tree's and the bamboo plant may be a bit challenge, any help would be greatly appreciated
Any way I'll see If I can get a .prp file for it and post when I finish.

Thanks for the Music.

Also I did wanna add a stone plaque some place in the age with all the names of the people who helped if you don,t mind me putting your names on it. after all I believe it is the first version off MC Eschers Relativity with a game engine that I know of, I feel I have an obligation to give credit where credit is due.

Wish me luck

This is an interesting conundrum, but it is what it is. I asked tachzusamm if he wanted help finishing off this age while he was still an active member of this community. He wasn't interested. Even though I work in both 3dsMax7 and Blender, I won't touch someone else's work without their explicit permission and even if that was obtained, they'd also have to approve anything I added/altered within their work. This particular age holds no grey areas for me. Sorry.

As I recall he left the Blender files on page 5 for others who are waiting to contribute.
so I don't see it as an issue. As long as it fits into the original theme of the Drawing and is appropriate for something as well known as M.C. Escher's Relativity.
In addition its also my work, originally I just needed a python file for the camera angles but after looking threw the python file he used for the camera angles Im kinda glad he ran with it the way he did
