Great job to all involved, you too Grogyan!
It was a tough job judging these shells since they were all wonderful. Thanks to all creators for
the privilege of seeing and scrutinizing your work. This was an educational and fun experience.

I second that LaReh!
It was lots of fun, it was a little hard to assign numbers since they were all so different. Very nice shell Tinuviel, great job--I think this one really earned title of winner.
Marcello, I gave your shell great visual quality scores because it had great visual quality... but it was lacking in most of the other regards.
Tinuviel, yours was the best all-round shell IMO.
Fun to see what different people focused on different features to work on in that limited time.
Thanks Grogyan and Robert for letting me be a judge.

Yes, LaReh, judging was a tough job. But exploring the shells was a lot of fun too, every single one.
Thank you to all who made this event possible and a great success I would say.

Lontahv, I know

It's what I concentrated on most so I knew other things were lacking. So no problem

(But I do want to know where you live

).
I'm very happy with my scores. The most rewarding though is that all of you have taken the time to see what we all came up with and enjoy it. Hopefully we inspired other shell owners to start on their shell or writers to start their own. I can tell you that the restrictions of a shell help to build more effectively. It probably takes more time, but you just have to model clean and work with those restrictions. So for learning purposes: do start working on your shell!!!
I hope every contestant keeps working on his or her shell too. I would love to see all versions 2 in the near future. I have been working on mine since sending in for the RAD contest. If I manage (with some help of our guru's) to solve some of the technical PyPRP (alpha) problems, then I will post new images this weekend or next week.

Again congratulation to all the contestants for releasing their shells in 3 weeks. It is great to see all those new shells in the city.

Couple quick comments:
Tinuviel: your shell was definitely the most homogenous, polished on all levels. Do you plan to update it? The history is intriguing.
Marcello: I really love your shell, very polished visuals an a nice atmosphere. As I mentionned previously I especially like how you worked with the structure constraint of the place.
Katreeny: I love the minimalistic and serene atmosphere of your place, the one thing that is really lacking (IMO) is a texture for the ground. Once you\'ll have all those extra polygons under control it\'ll be a very nice shell.

DatokerJ: I was very surprised by your shell, and in a good way. That technological design was unexpected in this Age, but it is so nicely done that it works well.
Di Gama: That was a pretty surprising design, but I like surprises.

Maybe it could be fun if the ball was quite elastic and bounced a lot?
Mar: That may be my favorite shell, it is not perfect technically or visually, but it is very original. I like rock environments, and this one has a lot of personality. I also like how we can climb very high and have a nice view of the whole shell from the top.

Oiiii! I wan? I can't belive it, but extremly happy

I know there is still much lakking in my shell and I will update it. But need to learn more of age-writing first. (texturing beeing worst, grr)
I had my fingers on Marcello. Walking into his shell made me feel like I was walking right in to a Cyan creation. Just one thing to interact with and I think you would have won, Marcello
DakoterJ: your flowers made me envious. I struggeled so much with my own and never managed to make them right. Ended up with deleting most of them.
Thanks to all for taking the time to set this contest up and judging us. And to all who participated in this contest with me. Now I'm going to go and have a look on the other shells. Still have not had time since my RL was put on hold during this contest... ( looking at my poor dirty floors)

Congratulations Tinuviel with your winning shell. You have done a great job.
Further, thanks to everyone who have judge, take time to look at the shells and all the people who are involved with the RAD contest. Thanks again.
I am very content with my place in the ranking. When I send in my shell I know it was very buggy. So I like were I finished on the ranking.
For me I think there shall come a lot of update versions of my shell. Working at my shell I was confronted with my lack on skills. So the coming time I have a lot to ask at the forum about many things.
When there is a new RAD contest I can recommend every one to sign in. I have learned a lot and it is a nice way to force you to come with something.
