Congratulations everyone :)

I'd have called it a tossup between Tinuviel and Marcello - there's so much stuff tucked away in Tinuviel's shell, and Marcello's is just breathtakingly beautiful.

They're all great - each in very different ways. Aloys, I tried to get those wretched tilers into the city to pave my floor, but they just didn't want to show up! I *think* I may have worked out what the problem is now - and may be able to do something about the mega polygon count, too. Then I can work out how to make those benches sittable so it's a nice place to just relax with friends :)

It will be fascinating to see what other people add to their shells now they see what a total newbie (me) can manage in 3 weeks ;)

THANK YOU ALL who made this event a blast, contestants, judges and 'roadies' :) !
I had a great time visiting the shells several times each, looking at different things. It's going to be very exciting to see the coming updates! As said before, each and every shell has their unique look and feeling, it's really amazing what can be done in such a short time! /me claps her hands

As with the first RAD I'm going to put my inspection-reports on GoMa forum. Hope that's ok for everyone, if not just pm me. :)

I agree with you. That was the only reason for me to enter the competition too. And I learned a lot, but I was very afraid for a while when I discovered I had to relearn most of how I worked in blender :) It was like baking a cake, and I had the recepy, but had never heard about the ingridients. (Bad comparison I know :D )
