Just a reminder, I know everyone is ecited about all that is happening, but for those that are competing, a word of advice, don't spend too much time following it, as you only have a limited time to do your shell.
I have created a new topic if you have questions that you'd like to ask, in case the press conference takes up too much of your valuable time
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1965Now I really got to run
Have fun

Just a heads up on those that want to do something a little more fanciful, the devs have tagged off a PyPrp build which include many things like animations so now you have their full support on them

Just visit the PyPrp thread for more info

Sigh. I KNOW I'm not going to win this one......to busy trying to answer questions about what's going on, the FCA proposal, etc, etc, etc. I haven't even started work on the Shell yet, and it's the 3rd...no wait, it's 1 am now.....4th already!
Can I just port over part of Camp Bravo and squeeze it in the Shell? Hrm????
No? ah well.....okay. I guess I better actually try to do some Shell building tomorrow (er, later today) and get some work on it done then.

My rough ground floor is mostly modeled
Can someone point me at the Tree/Bush tutorial, I know how to model them I just don't know how to assemble them in pyprp and get something that looks like a plant.
P.S. In for a penny in for a pound Saturday night I'll grab the animation grade plug in and see if I can get my shell a moving.
P.P.S. man I really should get some sleep that joke was bad even for me.

its all part of the fun.
I did the same in the first contest, spending anywhere from 18 to 20 hours each day awake
Every now and again your brain would just stop working, so the next day after a bit of sleep, the answer is just sitting at the front door waiting for you

have fun!!

WHOOT, Eric A. he's the guy who did most of the Uru Modeling.
I'm a fan of his Uru work (how can you not be if you're a fan of Uru).
EEEEP, this is going to be so fun judging along side him.
Maintainers; Are you planning on hosting the Judge-Chat like last time? It worked pretty well... could have been better... at least all the judges showed up.

(I guess we can use this thread for discussing this 'judging-matters' too?)
Yes, it worked quite well

at least when we'd got a 'chairwoman(Dot) who could keep these chattering peeps(that would be me and.../cough,cough) in place

. So, I say we do it at GoMa chat again. Only thing the cyanists have to assign there and I don't know how to contact them? Hope they read this thread! About meeting-time - oh, well, let's take that later on.
