I went to get MQ online. I had to create an account first. I completed the required info (including correct date of birth), then the site told me it had to contact a parent first for approval.

That may be a problem. My father died 2 years ago at 83, and my mom is 80, has no e-mail account and doesn't speak much English anyway.

I haven't heard from the site since I registered.

Heh, it did the same to me :P But it never did ask for permission; I could just login right away. There was another bug where after you login it doesn't redirect you, so just nagivate to magiquest.com again and you should be in. And there's a bug in-game where you can get as much XP as you want, if you don't want to complete one part of the quest ;)

Yeah, I noticed that one, too . But if you go on and defeat that golem, it caps your points again, IIRC.
