I combed the small island very thoroughly, no one red objects could be seen apart form that inactive red button.

Try to get past the fence that encircles the island. There is also a complete walkthrough available on u-tube by Minasunda which may be of some help.

Thanks. OK, I made it. When starting an unknown new Age, I never use fly mode or expanded developer's KI or walk-throughs in the first place. This first step is quite evil, the broken wood bar is a vague hint, especially that the lower walkway cannot be seen from anywhere. But a nicely done Age, I can't wait to fully discover the "other side of the mirror"
