Sorry about causing this disturbance about the latch style. My house is full of this style of latch. I'm currently restoring the mechanisms of all of them and manufacturing keys for some that don't work with standard skeleton keys.

Rhee - you're right, there's only one flower pot. I had it in my head that there were two and I wasn't wrong . . . except the other one is being carried by a person! I don't suppose the kids will leave you alone long enough for you to model an entire person with a pot . I'll put your beautiful flowers in Karkadann's vase. Just send me a link to whatever you built the mesh in.

My suggestion for a better sky color (that’s hue -5 saturation +50 lightness +30 in Photoshop) – but many other colors should work as well, use your artistic judgement.

Something You Don't See Everyday Or ever!

One thing that bothers me about the age as it currently is, that is clearly visible in this picture, is that the garden planes are invisible from the undersides. That makes you see things like the fall tree in this picture, or other people standing on the garden planes, float in mid-air, which I think takes away from the immersion. I have spent some work on trying to remedy that. Because I can’t think of a good way of what the underside of a garden plane should look like, I tried to minimize visibility of the undersides. When the area of a garden plane is small, its underside can perhaps be integrated into a wall of the building. Together with the desire to place some kind of gazebo at the spot from which you have the view that Escher depicts (and that is currently shown in Uru when you sit on the box), that has resulted in a complete reconfiguration of the garden planes. Here’s a picture of my work in progress on that. It’s not finished and I’m not happy with it yet (in particular, the extension of the blue garden plane kinda mangles the “house that Tach added” and the column/shelf near the table). I have little time to work on this, so don’t wait for me to finish it, but if anyone wants to take some of my ideas and run with them, you are welcome.

Is the fall tree already planted in this picture? If so, it’s in the wrong place. It should be visible from this angle, as in Escher’s print. That should also give you a hint as to the size. Or is it supposed to be a different tree than Escher’s?

I like your tweak and the small tree is very lovely, could just be a young tree, and 'What you don't see everyday' is absolutely awesome ... this one could be a tiny bit smaller maybe though ... In your and most probably many people's favorite shot there's a new picture ... beautiful ... Thank you, Calena, for keeping us updated with your passionate efforts and progression ... and Karkadann and all others involved as well, of course ... this is a collaborative project after all ...

I don't know yet how it looks inside the game engine, because the perspective in Plasma is different then in reality.
Also in Blender this is a Othographic projection instead of perspective.

If it looks good, then its fun to let it rotate around its axis.

That's closer to what I had in mind ! It feels more natural IMHO.

@Karkadann: Wow, nice ! No seam can be found... Placing the camera at the right point must be hard, though ?

If this is feasible, I think we should put the box and the penrose triangle in ! I just wonder, how will the avatar know where to look from in game ? Especially in 3rd person view... We could put a fixed camera somewhere, but it requires tweaking the camera code Tach wrote.

All it needs is an extra camera, and camera region you can put it on the Z plane garden, Im not sure why that would interfere with Tach's camera code
Or you could set it up with a prp file and it would be totally independent with its own lights and Plasma components.
