Most likely, yes.
And personally I don't have a problem with that; (well actually I do but that's not important), it's their work, they can do whatever they want with. And anything they will give us we should be happy with.
My point of view is that by not cooperating more with us on this they'd potentially miss on some opportunities.
But hey, wait and see. Next week will hopefully bring us some answers.

I want to work with them, help them, have fun. And I think it can happen. We just have to remember not to blow it. We don't go up to them and say: "Hey, let's build more of kveer for you because you need help because you're low on money."
We have to make sure that we remember that we're just another bunch of fans. We're skilled in age-building but... we're still fans. They have the right to say "no" to us even though we're the GoW. I know you guys already know all this stuff--just wanted to make sure it was fresh in your heads.

Note: GreyDragon's post about the state of things has been removed from the forums.
The only copy is the one at the top of this thread.

For now, think it's just a weird sign...
I can't think of a valid reason to remove it in both best and worst case scenario's

Probably.
Now comes the hardest part: waiting...
Hopefully we'll get something soon; maybe even tomorrow. That would make sense, but then again nothing seem to make sense these days as far as Live is/was concerned.

My speculative guess: GameTap saw GD's post as somewhat inflammatory (because it pinned the blame on GT for not releasing the MO:UL rights and thus opening it to the community) and they asked GD to remove it.
Tweek - are you there? Can you comment?

I continue to hope that the GD gave us a forbidden glimpse into Cyan's future plans.

It must be hard on GD being so close to the community, yet still bound by the same secrecy that Cyan as a company must observe.
I think the point that GD wanted to get across, or at least what I took from it is:
Hang on, we haven't given up and neither should you.

I'll take a look into it.

That would seem, if true, like an over-reaction on their part. GD has always stuck up for Gametap, right down the line. And in a legal arrangement between two parties, if the party of the first part wants to do something, and the something doesn't get done, it's reasonable to assume that the responsibility rests with the party of the second part. Or in other words, if the shoe fits...
