This discussion is not a personal attack. We certainly appreciate what you are doing, but we are a group and you have invited us in, so this is not your personal web site anymore. You volunteer your time and money (I remember asking you in a PM about that) for your own reasons, but this is still the GoW forum, not Adam's forum. It worries me that you said this is not a public forum because you are paying for it. Does this take precedence over our charter?

If you want the community, you have to listen to it, especially when the ones speaking are the few remaining active members of the community. We may not all be devs, or even Age writers, and we are not all active on the irc channel, but that has never been a requirement for being part of the community.

So while I appreciate your efforts, I am not giving you permission to make me or our group look like a fool, and if you do I will tell you so.

This banner makes us look like fools. It reflects poorly on our reputation and lowers our credibility, such as it is.

I think it is by now clear that you guys want that banner changed. I don't think that keeping repeating the arguments will be of any help. You have all said what you feel about it, people have sent PM's , maybe it is time to wait and see.

After receiving a good many complaints (a rather interesting request included), I think the new banner should appease all involved.

Edit: This one is a limited time offer. The standard one will be back in a few days.

That was my only problem with the banner. The lack of hello kitty in it.

I hate Hello Kitty myself. But I can stand to look at that for a few days rather than the other one. Thank you Adam.
