Re: Reference List of Writers
My thanks to Pryftan for welcoming me to the Guild.
It's great to be here. So what can I bring to the Restoration Guild of Writers?
Well, in the RW I am a published Writer and Poet.
I can use Photoshop and have moderate [old-style] html skills - though nothing major or fancy to write home about.
My extensive web site: "All Things Uru" gives a guide there http://www.zen13221.zen.co.uk/index.htm
I've played around a bit with the construction set of Morrowind, been unable to do much with the one for Oblivion, but one thing I have noticed is that the mods that separate the good from the bad is just how well the written parts come across.
Are the dialogues written with correct spelling?
Is that sign post right?
What about the label on that box or jar?
All these things can make or break the rest of the authors superb mod-writing skills.
So that's what I bring to the table: Your very own in-house proof reader. It's not glamourous Age Building, more a support worker post.
I don't need to actually understand exactly what it is I'm reading, such as a back History, but what ever it is, it needs to be spelt consistently and correctly and, so long as you are working in the English language, I can certainly help make sure your dialogue work is as good as it possibly can be. I mainly work in British English, but if you prefer American English usage, that's cool too.
So, here I am - use my talents at will!
Best Regards

Yea, Nek'rahm here. I'd love it if I could be added as a Concept Artist and Storyboard Worker. I'd love to add to the community and I KNOW I could come up with some kicking stuff if you give me a chance.

Anima_Caligo
KI# (Look it up tomorrow)
Writing, very descriptive in writing, Proof Reading, Puzzle ideas (any part of it), Photoshop, Adobe Premiere (not that it may be of much help, but there)
I've always had a very imaginative mind, and more so after I first set hands on a copy of Myst. I'm not an expert artist by hand, but am in mind, and can describe what I am seeing quite well to artists who draw what I am saying.

Hoikas
I go by Adam Johnson in cavern
KI: #338714
Skills: Web Design, PHP, Python, C#, x86, some C++, Trumpeter
Accomplishments: I know Plasma pretty well (pretty well meaning: more than Cyan would like); I was the second person to get a custom sound in an age (the first person never shared his information--so doesn't really count
); back in the days of Until Uru, I hacked Er'cana into UU with help from a few other people and made it multi-player compatible; yo hablo Español; I suck at 3d modelling, but kick butt with Uru's python; I developed my own adminKI (that no one other than myself had access to--and no one else ever will) in UU to perform many tasks that usually were done via the Vault Mangler.
I think that's it... Glad to be at your service.
