Re: GoW neighbourhood in MOUL:Again
On the note of GuildPub upgrades, thanks for reminding me. I've been pondering some ideas for this, so, when I get home, I might just have a bit of a play around with the files.

No, we have them.

Eh? Is that when that happened? I don't remember it, and I was under the impression that it was all over by the time I joined in 2006.
Chacal wrote:I think Aloys meant 2005.
There's a piece of information I feel the need to underline: I never mentionned that my memory was reliable, okay?

Chacal is correct though, that was in August 2005. (boy, where did that time fly?).. It happened when I was away on holidays, with no internet access, and I discovered everything when I came back a couple days after the war was over. I must have spend 2 whole days just catching up on the mess on the forums..

Phew, that's good to hear. I hope you get that sorted out at some point. No, we have them.We just can't put them online. The site was using a very old software setup which newer servers don't use anymore.. So we will either have to re-code our system to adapt it, or adapt our content to a different system... Both solutions are very time consuming unfortunately..
Yeah, I know that kind of situation... my browser tends to have at least 20 tabs open when I come back from more than a week without internetIt happened when I was away on holidays, with no internet access, and I discovered everything when I came back a couple days after the war was over. I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Definitely should have stuck with "It's a long story.". /me leaves thread as to not throw it off topic by responding to posts best responded to in PMs.

Nice upgrade there...

but oh so fragile, already been through one 'dirty bit' issue. Ghostin' is your friend.

It's a long while ago and I don't remember it as well as some other people

But, as Bad said, let's get back on topic.
One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.

Re: GoW neighbourhood in MOUL:Again
They would have to trust someone outside Cyan to help run the server, and historically they never trusted anyone else than Eric.
So many old stories here I don't know...

+1@Jamey: As chacal has said. *no* fan group should have any control over what is seen and released to the public.
EDIT: Spelling fixes

Starfyre anger was hardly limited to Slackers. Rage is universal when people find out their money to the flower fund is going to a character and not a real person.

Right. But then again Cyan will want some form of control on the Ages that are published, and they don't have the ressources to check all the Ages themselves.
So, if you don't want a fan group to do it, and Cyan can't do it either.. Then what do you suggest?
