Maybe you got a slightly different version that uses a graphics library without GIF support? That used to be common as GIF is partially patented, but IIRC the patents are expired, aren't they?
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

If you're good in Python, it should be possible to use a region for this, right ?
