I never had to put my blend file in the sfx folder, no. I just made sure that the file paths in blender for sound pointed to the sfx folder where the .ogg files are.
Also, in the alcscript, I don't think you need to put the .ogg file extension in the file name.

It would work, yes. But it was actually coded that way to support the opposite: So that you can copy the required ogg files into the folder of your blend file.
Edit: btw, I would only use the new method for new sounds. Just keep your existing sounds the way they are because you'll find that PyPRP keeps those wav files tightly locked. Both methods are supported.
And Andy is right, never use the ogg or wav file extension in your AlcScript.

Sorry for the misinformation. I haven't used sounds for a while.

Thanks for the new informations!
It works. I was testing it and could include the file "kemoJCGateClose" easily.
There is just one question about putting sounds to my age left:
I notice a strange behavior. Everytime a sound starts playing it plays for a second, but then it lags, stops for a half second and continues playing the sound.
Anyone knows this behavior? Or do I just need a new codec or something?

I had this effect long time ago sometimes on slow PCs. Playing with the audio settings in the Setup screen (Hardware acceleration / EAX) may help.
And maybe you could try to execute "SoundDecompress.exe" in your URU folder; this should rebuild your sound cache (creating .WAV files of all your OGGs).

Yeah... My good, old, slow "steam machine"...
I definitely need a new PC. But can't pay it right now. So I have to life with these small lags...

I'm still working on the age. But right now I'm stuck with a special room. I have no idea how to design it.
Are we allowed now to use Cyan's textures too? Maybe I could work with these a bit.

Beautiful screenshot as always.
About how far along in the total creation process would you say you are? 50%? 10%? 99%?

Right now I can't say that. I thought I've done something around 70 or 80% of the age creation.
But there are some difficulties right now. After solving these I have to do all of the puzzles. That will take a long time too.
