Ending the Nonsense
Re: Ending the Nonsense
Ok guys can we stop bashing Veralun? It's not nice to do and honestly it's a bad example to set for any future readers of this forum.
Life is a book.
Re: Ending the Nonsense
Ya know he's right, this site is about age creation not caricature assassination. All its doing is distracting you guys from what this site is all about.

Re: Ending the Nonsense
I see mostly stories from people whose experience in Uru has been broken because of veralun. I see very little character assassination. I see people finally feeling free to voice their concerns in public.
Re: Ending the Nonsense
perhaps my choice of words is a little off again, what I think I meant to say perhaps all this dram is distracting this site from its purpose. You guys are capable of creating something that I just can not figure out why waist you time with drama when you can create worlds Why let one person spoil it for everyone Uru will survive in some form or other everybody knows that. this seems like just another bump in the road

Because I care about the fans who are starting up just now. The person I met in the Writer's Pub who was ecstatic about the potential to write Ages, even for offline Uru. The people still going out and getting Uru: CC so they can see the fan Ages. The new people here looking for a way to bring their ideas to life. I care about the people like me six years ago. The new people. Because I know that if I were in their position now, with information and posts vanishing with no reason given I would never have made an Age. I would not have put up with the frustration, the random nonsense that goes on. That is a tragedy for this community.

A bump that must be overcome before we can move forward, yes.

Re: Ending the Nonsense
So... in the MOULa version of this thread, Zander_the_Heretic said that Cyan actually started investigating Veralun's activities. Would someone who is actually registered at the MOUL forum be so kind as to prod him for details?
If I had a signature, this is where it would be...

Any suggestions on how one would go about doing what you ask.

Hello. Consider me prodded.
I read somewhere in the thread that Cyan had agreed to talk to the mods. This has now been confirmed by Reverend Vader (who is a mod) here.
I'm not going to say any more about this here, except that it seems to me odd to show how much you care about new players being put off by this kind of unpleasantness by making a big thing about it in the public forums where new players can see it and be put off by it. The thread has now been moved to Off-Topic, and I think that's probably a good thing.
