The Uam Shard!

Sounds like the old Uru annoyance of loading *all* pages of a certain name when paging in with Python, no matter which age the page comes from. Online, Alcugs will kick you for loading pages from another age. I sent a Drizzle patch to Dustin that fixes the prp files by giving them different names, but the age file also needs to be updated.

Verified and fixed in Drizzle! For people having the hood crash problem, you need only delete the NeighborhoodMOUL*.* files in your /dat folder.

I haven't chimed in yet here, so here you go... Thanks guys!! It's great to finally be able to see the fan ages in multi-player. The last few times I've logged on, it's been unpopulated, but I'm sure I'll run into some of you eventually. Great work!

Just a clarification (I don't want to discuss it):

About 2 years I run the server, from where you could downloaded all the fan-ages. You could do it with Drizzle or direct from a website.
You can see that in the Drizzle-help, too. So I'm associated with the name "UAM" because you can download ages with the UAM tab in Drizzle.

Now Dustin opens a shard named "Uam shard" and thanks in his announcement the "regular Drizzle/UAM team for his help.
I never heard about this project until Dustin announced it and I was surprised about it.

I want to say, that I have nothing to do with the Uam shard, I'm not a member there and I don't want to support it.

I will leave the Drizzle team immediately!

Indeed UAM Shard has nothing to do with Offline KI or UAM, so it's completely off-topic in this forum.

Nor do I want to be affiliated with a Shard that actually provides TPOTS, Myst V, Crowthistle and so on for download - his dataserver is providing all the files (I downloaded some and compared, they are really the correct files, no dummies to fill the manifest). I can send you links if you are interested. It should be as easy as putting the .age files into your dat folder to get the full set of files for free. Last time someone uploaded all these files in public, you were rather critical about this, Dustin, remember?
