Sorry for derailing your thread, dwaler, but... :P
@Rhee: In addition to drafting concept art; If you yearn for a smaller project, you could help me flesh out the empty shell of a story that I have for another age, that I never seem to get around to building.
I only mention it because it does involve a small peripheral romance thing, between two characters that are to be seen on photo. :7 (...and I could also use a pair of victorian cosplayer volunteers for those. :P )

@Jojon: Interesting! Feel free to send me some details about this fleshing out in a PM if you so desire... Life is busy for me right now with a new infant, too busy to get going on my modelling anyway (I have to spend about half an hour each time i fire up blender remembering how to use the UI at this point lol), but tale-spinning is something I CAN do!
and as for concepts... well, maybe if there's a long-nap afternoon someday soon, i might get out the pen and doodle. I've been wanting to flip through Chacal's inspirational images and maybe something there will tickle my fancy! Perhaps even something else for dendwaler to add to Temple age.
Tada! Thread no longer derailed!

Time for a new screenshot.
I made some progress outside the temple.
Here is a shot of the new Gazebo i modeled for the tree
Its not ready yet, but i think it will look good when i added some decoration .
Instead of an Ivy i plan to make a nice texture from a wisteria.
I love those beautifull flowers.
Above the tree is slowly turning stone like in one of the eders gardens.
Not sure, i will leave it there.( and i definitely have to change the colors in harmony)
if so., i will lett it turn very slow and synchronious to a night and day cycle.
What you think?

This is very beautiful and atmospheric already, dendwaler, you're mightily progressing ...
I wonder how this one is made, means if such an age could already be integrated into MOULa
or our Shards if once ready or if it had to be converted and tediously prepared for such an integration ...
I mean, it seems that you're setting up the foundation of a beautiful age or environment at least quite
easily and fast, and you're alone and not many, ok you'd need someone for puzzles and you have a
musical artist at hand, then there needs to be time for more additional worlds/environments/spaces
if desired for a more comprehensive age or world and for adjustments, approvements and polishings
here and there etc. but you know what I mean ... Yeah, just wondering and pondering ...
--------------------
The idea of adding the lovely Wisteria blossoms instead of the Ivy is good, though it is coming with
a quite opulent bloom and the tree is like its harp equivalent of a delicate and graceful appearance,
so I'd just see not to overload or even cover it too much ...
I don't know yet if I like the rotating stone above that harptree lol ... If you'd adjust the color to more
harmoniously integrate into 'the whole' as you've meant to do already, then maybe, it has to be seen
when the scenery is more complete ... ahh, and with day and night cycles, great ...

If you can figure out a way to do it that is not too complicated, you could make a wierd fantasy sort of world, by splitting the sky sharply across the centre, top-down, so that half the fountain is in day and the other in night, and have it turn around a zenith-fountain-nadir axis. :P
(EDIT: Projection lights could be part of it, but they would unfortunately have to be arranged along the day/night terminator.)

I didn't find the time to do much on the age lately,
Nevertheless i made some progress.
A beginning with the wisteria decoration.
and i made a night and day cycle.
The start of the cycle can be triggered somewhere inside the temple by choise of the player.
I also started to close the " south side of the age, which is still opened.
More of that later.

This looks very atmospheric and inviting already, it gets better and better, dendwaler ...
The day and night cycle is wonderful ... The wisteria are beautiful too, but they look
a bit like needing some water though ... Thanks for the update, however ...

I dearly love your age so far.
But the more that I observe your Wisteria the more that I am reminded of a Bonsai. Both so beautiful, elegant and stately and both so very lonely...

Here is a screenshot of the new south side.
As always not completely ready yet , but it gives an idea.
The exit is not an exit but an entrance
But since there are no walls yet of the new room in the temple it only looks like an exit.
But that will change.
Oh and thx for the reply's because that is motivating me.
and Janaba, the wisteria will get some roots later to be able to get water, i only have troubles making them, i need to find a good picture to isolate the branches from.

OMG ... how absolutely awesome and beautiful ... right now you're on your
way to beat the so called 'Cyan quality' ... no, really, this looks very professional
and outstanding already ... One day our age creators will refuse to implement
their great stuff and creations to this age-old and outdated Uru haha ...
Thanks for sharing, dendwaler, and don't worry about the beautiful wisteria,
they will recover betimes, they are in the best of hands ...
