There's a element in Elodea's key room that isn't present in Unterwelt's key room.dtierce wrote:Maybe I messed up somehow.

Absolutely!!! It is almost unbelievable what we're being presented and gifted with those worlds ... I have my fourth cloth only by now and already hundreds of pictures (Elodea and Unterwelt) lol, and I believe I still haven't seen half of everything ... To not miss anything I'm slowly exploring and enjoying everything systematically from the top down, yeah, that's how I started ... I see from the cloth glowings that the other way round might have been the right way, but I feel good like that ... Today I started with the church, then to the pilgrims' hostel or dormitories, and I've just been enjoying Buddha's garden and I've been absolutely stunned by what I've been experiencing in the solar portal ... Wow!!! ... What an adventure!!! ... I really wonder how you're doing this all, Dulcamara ... you're a master ...dtierce wrote:Everything I've seen is fantastic!

I just needed a little rest right now to express my amazement and to prepare the next round with fresh coffee and sth to eat ... To not have to start again all the way through Elodea I've taken a seat on a bench by the waters in that beautiful crystal cave ... The implementation of the various Uru music pieces is absolutely wonderful btw ... Elodea, of course, also tells a lot about yourself, Dulcamara, which is very nice ...

Yeah, off to more adventures, miracles and surprises ... Thanks a lot again for that, Dulcamara and all who contributed to the realization of this impressive world of wonders, of beauty and inspiration ...

Shorah Acorn,
If you need more of a "push":
I explained to dtierce that Dulcamara frequently uses Google translate for her English conversations...Acorn wrote:dtierce wrote:

Re: Elodea Exploration Party: Saturday May 11th
hooray, I just found the door and the final cloth - before I looked at your help, Ainia, but thank you anyway!
So now for Tunnelgang.

Re: Elodea Exploration Party: Saturday May 11th
That final door is difficult, but it should be as it is the endgame for the Unterwelt. I'm still in the Unterwelt, but I am a compulsive mapper (ever since Colossal Cave) and have sketch maps for the Unterwelt that I'm reviewing and turning into Visio drawings. It is an age that rewards mapping. as otherwise it is far too easy to get lost.

I think Dulcamara built the URU version of Angry Birds. I got my offline version and I keep popping back in it looking for clothes . . . or just exploring
. I found a few clothes. This place is just plain fun! Thanks again, I needed this. At the rate I'm going, it could take 6 months to a year before I get through this thing
.

Re: Elodea Exploration Party: Saturday May 11th
Yesterday I've completed the magical Unterwelt, and in the aftermath I see it was good to have started from the top and proceeding down there, and then having a good bath in the wellness center after this amazing journey ... I didn't find it too difficult to detect the last entry point and cloth, but maybe it is more easy when you already got the hint here that it ought to be close to the 'sun gate', which was easy to see or even almost impossible to not stumble upon ...
Yeah, I couldn't stop immediately and happily proceeded to the Tunnelgang world, and so it was quite late when I finally had to stop lol ... I got through this successfully now as well ... The Tunnelgang world is a completely different setting and scenario, but beautiful and interesting in its own way ... At first, of course, I thought, how will I ever find my way around here, but with the various great stuff and sceneries you quickly have your 'marker points' to remember ... and it was in fact another surprisingly awesome adventure through this tunnel system ... I believe, Annabelle had her special fun as well with so many jumps you 'had to' perform to advance and getting to the required places ... I loved the elevator, of course, and the lava bridge etc. and so many great ideas ...
I now have the pleasure to explore the great and it seems not less vast, but absolutely beautiful and miraculous Schatzkammern world (will take a rest for today though lol) ... What a phantastic journey and 'ride'!!! ... It is absolutely obvious that many years of creative and passionate progression, but also painstaking effort and care went into this mighty project ... Many Kudos and congratulations to you again, Dulcamara ...

I am not sure I understand this - as for all other fan-ages, the offline and online version are exactly the same files. UAM and the DI dataserver are essentially just two different interfaces to a common set of files which I maintain on the server - with one script to update the entire DI dataserver, and another script to package an age in a 7z file and put it into UAM. I even went through all ages (or had a script do it^^) once to ensure that there are no significant differences between the UAM and DI versions. The ages released during the last year or two are bit-per-bit identical.Ehren wrote:You are talking about this list right?: http://www.the-deep-island.de/uru-ages/diafero wrote:Aaaaand another updateDulcamara just gave me the permission to release the age in UAM, so you can play through it offline now.
Specifically: http://www.the-deep-island.de/uru-ages/ ... 3-05-16.7z ?
If so, are you SURE you uploaded the correct version? The current download seems to be for the online version.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

I had fun in Unterwelt because of my avid curiosity to see what's on the another corner
I had fun in Tunnelgang because of my skills at climbing everywhere. I like to move my pixels around.
I had fun in Schatzkammern doing skydiving stuff from swimming underwater to finding a path to reach the "Schatzkammern" themselves including everything between those 2 extremes.
I even had to return to Elodea to play it "nicely" because I went for the shortcut right away...I was more trying to climb a hill and found a nice opportunity to jump behind a waterfall than looking for a shortcut...

This is what makes Dulcamara's ages more like a complete game than a collection of ages, the wide variety of gameplays and environments you have to go through during your journey and its immenseness.
