Obviously I can jump high and far different and has to do with the lines.
The one wall seems to be a ramp or a goal.
These findings but do not help me. Iceworld is the first "Uru-Level", in which I am stuck.
Please tell me (via PM) just what I need to do or how long I have to wait until something happens, so I can get this resolved first puzzle. My patience is really over.
I like to solve difficult, stupid and illogical puzzles and work for hours on something, but this first Iceworld puzzle really gets on my nerves, I lose the pleasure of it.
Regards
ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
Re: ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
I will send you the solution in PM.
I was only waiting for your plea. I really don't understand why the previous poster, Dtierce, sent you a spoiler when you did CLEARLY ask for a solution ?!?!?
Anyway...Case close!

Many thanks to annabelle and dtierce.
Now I understood.
And the reference to binary numbers ... 0 = off, 1 = on ... damn! * g *

Re: ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
The Age following Somewhere and Iceworld will be named Elsewhere.
A new topic will be created for the release of this Age.
But not immediately....

Re: ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
Dulcamara brought to my attention today a problem in Iceworld: When there are already two players in the age, the third one trying to join will crash.
This looks very much like the problem we've had in Ahnonay Sphere 1, and in Janga, as well.
The issue is a weird bug in Uru: When there is a swim region in the age, and one of the link-in points is NOT *above* the swim region, the third player to join the age will crash. The same happens if the origin of the coordinate system (0, 0, 0) is NOT *above* the swim region.
This got fixed in Janga by moving the link-in point up, and adding this wood construction at the spawn point (so that players do not fall down immediately after link-in). In Ahnonay, we additionally had to move the entire age down to get the coordinate origin above the swim region - Dustin did some magic in Drizzle to be able to patch prp files appropriately.
Is there a swim region in IceWorld? If yes, could you try moving the spawn points up so that their z coordinate is larger than the one of the swim region? Also check the absolute coordinates of the swim region to figure out whether the entire age needs to be moved down.

I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Re: ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
Hallo Denost
yes this is a very big Problem. It wa a hard work to stay with 3 Explorer. Many crashes we have behind us.
But finally we did it with a group (3 Explorer) of intrepid researchers to end the Expidition by Iceworld.
The relentless cold and the harsh deprivations in the ice have not shied us. We have not rested until we've
finally come together for the goal. And it was really worth it. Thank Denost for this exceptional experience
and this wonderful journey.
We want more !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
No, there is no swim region
Yes, you will have more
I am working on ELSEWHERE
Need some months more (I do not know how many). Should be less than 12...
Did you play SOMEWHERE ?

Re: ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
Oh yes of course!
I like it also very much
I love big ages where there is something new to discover around every corner.
Take the time you need with the Elsewhere
I will wait with excitement

Re: ICEWORLD (after Somewhere)
Shorah everyone,
Regarding a possible swim region, keep in mind that Somewhere has a hidden swim region that one can discover by falling through some of the "holes" on the surface. I don't think it's an intentional part of the Age, though perhaps it's a continuation of one of the surface swim regions...
Anyway, the point is that I'm wondering if Iceworld might have a similar hidden area. Of course, denost2 would know for sure about this.
