Welcome, Tobias! I added you to our reference list wiki page.
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.

@Robert: Thanx for the add.

@ametist: Yeah, I know. :) The thing is I´ve been planning to make a "Myst-like" game forever (huge fan of the series since the start). Been looking at various game engines out there and settled for GarageGames "Torque Game Engine Advanced". Then I found this forum and thought of trying to "mod" with the URU engine since it´s just the engine such a game would need. Right now I´m looking at the engine-restrictons graphics-wise...but I guess I´ll just have to learn Blender and test it in game...or wait for Cyan to release the 3DS Max plugins (though I hear it can take a while) since I´m a Maxer...

Are there any good documents/links on features of the engine? (I´m thinking total number polygons, Level of Detail, texture resolutions, number of texture layers per object...etc etc).

Anyway - great site/forum!

Hmm, last I heard, public techincal documentation of the Plasma engine was prohibited by Cyan. This entire operation is a quasi-legal hacking community, bent on adding value and content to Cyan's assets against their will. The entirety of the "Tools" and the (minimal) documentation on the use of said tools is limited to what a few people have hacked together in their spare time, and is somewhere on the edge of usability. If you are willing to put up with the frustration that results from this interesting situation, welcome to the GoW. :)
