I was thinking more on the lines of, if someone wants to, or needs to take advantage of animations in their current state, then they would have to use a version on SVN.

I'm ok with that, I don't know anybody else.

Robert, if its a good idea, can you change the wiki page please, as I will be heading of to work shortly

There's cheese with this 2nd contest???

Cool!!!

Oh wait.....just re-read the post....... :D

Oh, and I'm cool with anyone using the latest svn in their Shell. I think it would be really cool to see some object animation done a new way.

Won't be me though! I need instructions for something that complicated. The "See Spot. See Spot Run." type of instructions... :?

Welcome aboard, we now have 10 contestants, woo hoo :D

Something that did come to mind, for anyone wanting to download and try these shells when they become available, is that loading time will be a lot longer, unless of course Aloys has done some tricks to make it quicker, I know some experiments were done, but not sure if they are being implemented

Sorry that I didn't get to this in time, Grogyan. Looks like you've taken care of it already. That's a good disclaimer you added about the bleeding edge version.

Hello, I want to zip my files to Aloys. But now I have a very stupid question, how can I copied my sdl,sfx and py file. I have my prp files, age.
When I looked with plasma or with urupython I see this files but I can't copied them in those programs.

O, I want to be a "nert "then I understand all that stuff. :? :?
I ask for help

ROFLMBO!! That's "NERD"! Mar!

Oh man! Sorry, but that was funny! ......it's okay, don't be embarrased, I only know a few words here and there of any other language.......so I'm sure I would make funny mistakes too!

I'm not sure what kind of computer you are using, but if it is a PC, and you are running Windows XP or Vista, you can click on the Start button, and then click on My Computer. It should show what drives you have.

You want to go to where you are exporting your files to and copy and paste them into a zip file. Your are not going to be able to copy and paste them into a zip file using PlasmaShop I'm afraid.

Thats ok Robert, i'm just trying to organize as much as I can, juggling life, my robot, my shell, learning Blender (python script for Blender) and the contest all at the same time amongst the different timezones

Yeah I put that disclaimer in as its now the policy of the developers and its something that can be overlooked, but that doesn't stop us from experimenting with it ;)

Hence I didn't paste a link to the subversion repository, even though its easy to find the link anyways

I'll have to ask you about your robot project sometime - sounds interesting!

Regarding the RAD contest registration: shall we set the end time to 23:59 Monday 30 June GMT? Maybe at that time, you could start a new thread that lists the final set of contestants and can be used for questions during the contest. At that time, I'll work with Aloys to provide the "before" version of Ahra Pahts containing any existing shells that were submitted, for initial review of the judges.

What do you think?
