Huh? Wasn't that only in Kirel? Or does the offline KI place this into Bevin style neighborhoods?

Is there a way I can add linking panels to other existing books, such as

1 A link to the Teledahn Office into the Teledahn Linking Book
2 A link to the the D'ni Asheme'n Silo into the D'ni Book
3 Make all the linking panels moving panels.

Also is there a way I can change the binding on the Jalak, Minkata, and Pods book so it looks like it did in MOUL

Yes, it was only in Kirel... but the Offline KI places another ticker in the 'hood, which says that Tsogal and Delin are inside the 'hood.

I'm impressed by the offline KI! The city crashes unfortunately... :(

Tickers were in Kirel, Bevin and the City. One in the Classroom/Eggroom courtyard in Bevin. One by the courtyard tent in the City and another by the Museum Tent. These were present in MOUL but never turned on. They had no animated textures however, so I added textures so that they would match the Kirel Imager.

I really don't think this is an issue with the tickers though. There's not a thing in those tickers that would cause these crashes. No missing textures. The animations work fine, etc. And its such a small number of people that are getting them, that it doesn't seem to me that its actually being caused by anything wrong with the files themselves.

I try extractking the Offline KI Data Files and I can not get access to it. I am using 7-zip and it says it is archived. I try opening the archive with 7-zip and it is telling me that it is unknown or damaged. I have tried downloading it again and still get the same messages. This is for 2.5.1

Does it crash while linking there, on while you are in there? Does anyone else have this problem, too?

You would have to manually do that in the Python code. The fist point doesn't even make sense as Sharper's office is not in Teledahn but in Ae'gura, so the link is placed there.

Also is there a way I can change the binding on the Jalak, Minkata, and Pods book so it looks like it did in MOUL
I'm quite sure it is possible, but GPNMilano said it would be very hard, so I don't know if it will ever happen.

But if I disable the LiveAdditionsXP in the age file, there are no crashes anymore. So even while the file might be completely ok, it obviously causes the client to crash due to some bug which occurs only on some PCs. I had almost no crashes anymore after removing the ticker with PRPExplorer, but since there might still be some references left and since objects are not really removed by it, that's not an option.

Perhaps the old wrong version is still in your browser cache? You could try clearing it and then downloading again.

Some PCs being the key thing here. It causes them to crash and stack dump. I can't read stuck dump errors all that well. But more than likely, since this is only happening on a few systems, rather than for everyone who uses it, my belief is that its probably a graphics card issue of some kind. But thats just my guess. If it was happening to everyone, the problem would be easier to pin down, but its not, so unless someone can read the stack dump error logs that people are getting, i don't know how to fix the issue.

Ah thanks. I was not going to replace entire existing ages with MOUL ages anyway. Is this really necessary with the offline KI?

The age is not completely replaced but some things from MOUL are added. If you want to, you can copy only the GUI, GlobalMarkers and Nexus prp files from the data archive, and use Andy's Nexus to reach the MOUL and Myst V ages, that should work perfectly well.

No need to replace existing ages with MOUL ones. I created new PRP pages specifically to avoid the replacement of the old ages. These PRPs are what is distributed with the offlineKI. The new PRP pages have the objects, like the books in Bevin and the city, thanksgiving visuals, tickers, and bahro stones, in them along with a new bahro stone that people can hunt for..
