I knew this place wasn't being advertised properly! We had to get a maintainer to come in and do it for us.

Maybe now people will actually believe me when I talk about fan ages in uru.

Just what we needed, actually, more interest in moving Uru along ^_^

ROFL!!!!
ah me oh my..........
Gee, I guess I'll never be a Writer, huh? I'll aways be: that Upstart Maintainer that knows some Writing. ROFL!!
You know, that got me to thinking about two things though.........why no one had showed off their Age before, but then I realized we just now got sounds! Why bother with video when pics would do, right. But now with sounds...yah.
Also: Tutorial Video's. Showing simple things, but things that seem to hang people up. I know that over at
Mods Online they would make videos of many of their tutorials. Some were a big help, seeing actually done.
Just a thought.

Tutorial videos would be nice, but would require higher-end (read: expensive) video capturing/editing software. Using Fraps on Blender would require you to squash down the screen extra tiny so that all the pertinent buttons and the 3D viewing area fit into an 800x600 area.

Or use the non-free version of fraps. Records at any resolution.

However, I don't expect that to be an option for many people so, point taken.

Haha!

I remain amazed by how pretty much the most active, productive and helpful person around here titles himself a maintainer and not a writer.

Great to hear that your (well produced) video had such an impact!

It's my military back ground.....
I've got a creative streak a mile wide................
But I grew up with a father in the Navy for 30 years, myself for 10, and 2 of my kids seriously thinking of military careers. Kinda runs in the family, so Maintainer just felt right.
Hehhehe, I guess you could look at me like that solder on top of the hard fought for hill, writing a poem about the battle.
