Bugtracking

Post by ametist »

There is a 'new' bugtracking program, Mantis, for everybody to use at http://.bugs.openuru.org. JWPlatt and rarified started it up and after some testing we at the GoMa decided to begin to use Mantis, along with Bugzilla. Most of us feel that Mantis is much easier to use. You can sign up with the purpose of just being a reporter, helping age-builders and writers to polish their ages. Or you can submit your own age, WIP or 'ready-to-use', to let others help you polish it up ;) .
Here you find instructions how to report an issue.

At the moment, there are : Ahra Pahts Shell 119 (Grogyan), The Writers Niche (Jamey), Hayal (Corvus), Botan (ametist), Dragons Tooth and Ordovician(Metabasalt).

And as usual, GoMa offers inspections with or without public inspection-reports. :)

Thanks!
P.S When I searched forum to see if there already was a thread going, I found that TG already had recommended Mantis ;)
here

EDIT: Mantis URL, thanks JWPlatt!

Glad my suggestion helped. I do find Mantis useful - personally, I think it's one of the less finnicky bug-tracking systems. I'll have to check out what you've got going there. :)

Thanks ametist!

The www prefix actually works, but it's really:
http://Bugs.OpenURU.org

;)

Everyone is welcome to use it.
OpenUru.org: An Uru project resource site.
Perfect speed is being there.

I already got my shell up there, i'm working on some improvements and a total restructure of it.
