Do you have Hexisle?
Do you have Hexisle?
Just as the topic says! This is a little game Cyan made in 2007. Its website is http://www.hexisle.com. The website only shows 3 Ages, but there are actually 6. I could put up screenshots if people would like? Basically, each Age is a simple 3d environment that serves as a backdrop for the hexagon puzzles.

Re: Do you have Hexisle?
Something between "No, but I've been trying to get it" and "No, and I have no intention of getting it". I would perhaps have gotten it if it had been easily available in Europe, but without any idea about whether I would like the game, I didn't bother trying to find a way. And I have never since re-checked if it is available in Europe now or if there is a demo that would let me try the gameplay. (Right now Fanista seems unreachable so I can't make up for that.)
Edit: And I have no interest in converting Hex Isle ages into Uru, if that's what you're getting at (if only because Hex Isle runs on Mac OS and Uru CC doesn't, apart from the fact that they don't seem to fit into the Uru world).

Same here. I gave up on trying to get it as I even don't know if I would like it.

Not interresting for me. I remember seeing a few screenshots and I was turned off.

Re: Do you have Hexisle?
It is at the moment entirely unavailable for purchase anywhere, with the Fanista company seeming to have disappeared entirely.

Re: Do you have Hexisle?
I'd buy it if I could convert it for Uru exploration. I know that it doesn't fit in the "Uru World" but there are plenty of fan ages that don't either. I can imagine sales of Hex Isle would spike if it could be converted with Drizzle.
BTW, what's up with Fanista.com? I can't get their website. Did they go bust? I guess sales can't spike if you can't get it. Amazon has 2 available from private sellers and Ebay has none (although they do have the original Cosmic Osmo, Mac version for $118.00!)

That may be true, but the fan ages can only be played in Uru, while the Hex Isle ages surely work better in Hex Isle than in Uru. That's what I meant to say. /shrug. I just see no reason to convert them. (I do see a reason to write a converter, but that's a different thing. That's just the "because it's there" argument, to which I am as susceptible as any other hacker.)
Re: Do you have Hexisle?
Yes, that's always a fun reason. Another reason some people like it, is the unified-iness of having everything in one game. Another reason some people might like it, is that they would like to visit those places in multiplayer. Heh, another reason might be that they don't like to see all those hexagons and Cosmic Osmo's avatar :D Anyway, different people will have different reasons :)
