Does anyone know why URU would suddenly start giving me stackdumps upon start up (right after the cyan and Ubisoft logos)?
I hadn't installed anything new or anything. The only think I did before I noticed this, is re-exporting my age, but the only change was the passindex, and after I took all the age files out of the game, it still crashed. It seems to have started for no apparent reason. Was there an update to the Offline KI that might have caused this or something?

Re: Uru stackdumping
It could also be caused by a broken vault - especially having too many pictures can cause this. Does it work if you create a new avatar?
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Re: Uru stackdumping
Well, it's funny you mention avatars, I just created a couple of new avatars recently. (before all this started) I'll see if creating a new one fixes it (or deleting the pictures.)
btw, here's the stackdump error (in case anyone can read it):

Re: Uru stackdumping
Ok, I tested, and apparently only my main avatar won't load
(the avatar I usually do all my exploring and hanging out with). Most of my pictures were taken by it. All other avatars work. Any idea how I can get it to work for the avatar?

Re: Uru stackdumping
Usually after a stack dump your URU folder will be very fragmented. Try defragging. At a minimon this will be one less thing causing problems.
And yes, delete all the Ki pictures for this can cause problems and can cause very slow load times.
And as diafero says below:
[edit1]added diafero's quote & changed some wording

Re: Uru stackdumping
If only one avatar is having problems, delete the avatar and make a new one.
Re: Uru stackdumping
For the sake of curiosity and learning, explore your vault with VaultShop.
Try to find where it is broken. Try to repair.

Deleting KI images in the KIImages folder does not change anything for the avatars, so that won't do nothing. You would have to delete them in the game, which obviously is not possible. VaultShop would be worth a try - if Uru fails only at lading such a vault, and did not already break it when it was saved, it can be repaired.

Yeah, that's definitely a corrupt vault somewhere... Somehow, it's trying to read a plSceneNode from your vault data (which it shouldn't be doing)
