The cavern is open! Wahooo!
Re: The cavern is open! Wahooo!
Now where do we upload those new ages?
Anyway, sounds like it's time to put those NVidia 3d Vision goggles of mine to good use!

One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.

We don't...
They're entirely ignoring the fan Ages that we've been developing for 5 years. I guess we're not canon and have no place in the story.

They have no reason to do that now, and they couldn't with their limited resources.
I believe this is a step towards open-source, it has been made possible by this other on-line game Cyan is developing. According to Cyan's plan, shards will be able to add data servers with fan Ages. Or so I remember.
Whether or not a Cyan shard remains relevant for long is another story.

Isn't it a little early to jump to that conclusion?
Also, does anyone remember if the text on http://mystonline.com/en/developers/ was there before?

Paradox, chillax. They didn't release the source code yet. It's a step closer. From the About tab: "Cyan is planning that the client, servers and tools of MO:UL will soon become open source, allowing fans to continue developing the game and its universe. Fans will be able to host their own Uru servers and write their own custom, fan-made worlds for everyone to explore." so you may believe them or not, but they at least didn't ignore you guys.

It's not an issue of canon, I'm pretty sure. RAWA himself said that provisions would be made for non-canon "fictional" Ages.
