3D Max Plugin Video Tutorials

Post by TheMagician »

Hello everybody.

I've created a little site with some video tutorials on the 3D Max Plasma Plugin.
Right now there's something for beginners and more advanced users. I hope to add to it once or twice a month.
My goal is to cover the most important components from the plugin and give some advice on workflow issues.

Click here to go to the website

Have fun,
Stefan

Very nice addition ! you may also want to add a link to it somewhere in the GOW wiki.

first two videos were deleted ?

Also I'm a mac user as you are but I've been using 3dMax in parallel desktop until now, are you using crossover or is it something else ?
I was afraid that using wine might introduce too much bugs especially with software like max but it seems to work fine with you, any advice concerning configuration of the bottles of anything else ?

EDIT: After looking at other videos I realize you are probably using a linux distrib with the aqua interface, I was fooled ! :D

Ok, I have to create an account for the Wiki first.
Can you check whether the tutorials are working now?

It's always nice to hear when someone falls for the good old Win XP with Flyakite applied ;)

I don't think you need to, your GOW login should work

The Main Page of the Forum wrote:The wiki is a place to share knowledge and create tutorials. It is linked to your forum account, so as a member of the forum, you can contribute anything you like! We appreciate any and all help at keeping the wiki organized and well maintained.

Ok, I'm sorry, I didn't read it ... but I have another excuse for not putting it into the wiki yet - I can't connect to it. It always gives me a "server not found" error.
If you like though, Tsar, you can add the website to your 3ds plugin sticky thread that you've created.

If you try to use the link to the Wiki that you see at the guildofwriters.com home page - it doesn't work. But if you use the link next to 'Search' at the top of these forums, or the redirect link that Adam just made (look in the News section on the board index page), you'll get to the Wiki.

If all else fails, click this. :-)
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.

Your video tutorials are great! I think they'll help me to get used to 3dsmax. Thank you very much. :)

I've added URL links to your video tutorials over at the GoMa forum. Thanks for doing these as I've used Video Tutorials before, and know how much they can help, or dispell confusion.

Good job (and my wife says she loves your voice! heheh)
