Should we give this a go?

So... as many of you will or have read, a new topic called "GOW: Are you Interested" appeared and was posted by a user named (CCNRep). Despite the issues with that user, who by now is either banned, or not, he/she did bring up a request I think we should consider. An interview on the program they call... (looking up) ah, "The W.C or Water Cooler". The program would interview "Us Writers" about our guild and work. I think some of us should request an interview, it would be a great way to get new members and cause some excitement in the cavern. Any thoughts?

Regardless of my involvement in that topic, I have nothing against the CCN, so, I'm certainly interested. =)
(for clarity, my involvement in the previous topic was regarding previously banned users re-regging, not the CCN, at /all/, as Hoikas has said, in the past, to accept it, sets a bad precedent.)

Also to add, the 2nd user of that avatar gave us an outright apology for the error in letting the banned user register the avatar. (I think it's important to note that) I wonder if he will actually get in trouble with the whole CCN Group? lol but that's another issue. Back to topic.
PS: PASSED THE 50 POST MARK! YEAH!!

It seems like a good idea. I think we'll have to wait until one of the CCN people makes a proper personal account here and brings the issue back. We'd need proper communication on this.
We could give them a nudge if it takes too long

Not to ruin this topic, but, Hoikas I think you should just let Tyion come back. I mean, I think he has served his time. And I can't blame him for wanting to come back, granted he did it in the wrong way, but... I think since whatever he did was done on another forum, and he is obviously wanting to come back, we should let him in and say time served/water under the bridge. I mean everyone deserves a 2nd chance. Uru has gotten what... 3? You said he would of come back in possibly 2 weeks, well I think you should still allow that. Plus, he is already a CCN member so... yeah, I think he deserves another chance.

You don't try to evade a ban. No matter how much you want to come back. It's certainly not smart to come back disguised as a group. Everyone gets a second chance. Tyion wasted his by evading the ban.

Eh... no whilyam, I don't agree with that. He wasn't coming back in the sense of wanting to under a name, his mistake was registering the account for the group. So, I still say he should get another shot. Frankly I am surprised were denying a fellow explore the chance to write ages.

No, his mistake was using the group account to post, thus evading the ban. He violated the rules, he was banned, he got around the ban, he's banned again. It doesn't matter if he didn't do it "in the sense of wanting to under a name." he evaded a ban. Just like Dhel would be banned (and may have been) for coming back as Pelishard_Rep.

Personally, I think the original reason for Tyion's banning was quite petty, and I don't blame him for trying to defend himself... However, he has now attempted to re-register at least twice, so I'm not sure it's really justified to argue that he shouldn't be banned now.
On the other hand, I if I were you folks, I would continue to be against his banning on principle, simply because the original reason for it has remained secret.
